piece of cake : Comenius 2014

Hello everybody! This post is in English, so I am sorry about that.

Now I will inform you as to what we have done this week.

This week was Comenius week, so a group of people were selected to house students from 5 other countries: England, Czech Republic, Germany, France and Hungary. I was the host of Amy, a 15 year old Female from England.

On Tuesday, Amy arrived. We picked her up from the Airport, followed by a VERY long game of Nun Bowling (the pins were little nuns). :D I hadn't taken any pictures of Tuesday as Amy arrived late.

On Wednesday, the Comenius students had a first Class tour around the school. We presented our PowerPoints (by we, I didn't). At night, we went to the Nature centre ( Liminganlahden luontokeskus), nature walk.

On Thursday, We had our first lesson. We did some project work regarding the sun. We were told to write a poem based on either the sun itself or happy thoughts. This is our poem:

The Sun is a shining star

Radiating heat

We see the light...Near or far

Warming up our feet.

We went to a field and played winter games...Yay!We did tandem skiing, shoe throwing and Angry Birds football game. In the evening, we went to Olga's house and baked mocca cupcakes. They were veryyyyy delicious. Amy made our sides split (laughing) and we had so much fun.

On Friday, we went wall climbing. We went on a trip to Oulu, to the science centre, followed by a trip to a restaurant, Rosso. We went bowling. Amy lost the first game, then came back on the second with three strikes! I took many pictures of today. Here are some of the pictures...
